NAME:- Murmurey/ Lai key ladoo(puffed rice sweet balls)./ Dhoonda

CATEGORY:- INDIAN DESSERT

It’s a very popular Indian desert specially made during Makar Sankranti festival. A HINDU FESTIVAL.
Makar means Capricorn and Sankra-nti means migration of the Sun from one Rashi ( zodiac ) to another. That means this festival is celebrated because Sun goes to Capricorn thus resulting in end of winter days and beginning of long days. So this festival’s name is Makar ( Capricorn ) Sankranti.
According to our ancient records and Wikipedia also this festival is 5000 year old.

And we celebrate it by worshipping Sun ,flying kites, some parts of INDIA bonfires also.
And making sweets made by jagerry, puffed rice, ghee. And other stuffs.
Thank you,
